About DFW O&P
DFW Orthotics and Prosthetics is a mobile orthotic and prosthetic company that specializes in lower limb prosthetics. We are able to come to the patient for evaluation, test socket fittings, and delivery appointments. Most adjustments are able to be done at the convenience of the patient's home or facility. We believe in the use of outcome measures to keep track of our patient's progress and to ensure their goals are being maintained or achieved. We also have in-house fabrication which allows our office to provide a faster service to our patients.
Phuoc Nguyen, CPO/LPO
Phuoc Nguyen is a Texas licensed and American Board Certified Orthotist/Prosthetist. Phuoc graduated from UT Austin in 2009 with a B.A. in Biology and pursued his education in Orthotics and Prosthetics at the University of Texas at Southwestern Medical Center. Phuoc graduated from UTSW in 2011 and achieved his orthotic residency in Michigan and later his prosthetic residency in Florida. Phuoc believes in patient-centered healthcare and utilizing a team approach to ensure the patient’s goals are achieved and have the best possible outcome.
Phuoc enjoys playing sports, poker, and spending time with his family.
Jose Mario Cruz, Lab Technician
Jose Mario Cruz has worked at DFW Orthotics and Prosthetics since 2021 as an orthotic/prosthetic technician. Having over 25 years of experience in the field, he uses his knowledge to ensure each orthosis or prosthesis he fabricates is high quality and will function properly for our patient. He studied at University Don Bosco El Salvador. He lives in Mesquite, Texas. Mario is from San Salvador, El Salvador. One of his favorite hobbies is to play soccer.
Eric McMenamy, Lab Technician
Eric Mcmenamy was was born and raised here in Plano, Texas and graduated from Plano East High school in 2013. Eric is lab technician here at DFW Orthotics & Prosthetics, and started his technician career beginning 2014. Eric really enjoys fabricating Orthotics and Prosthetics because it allows him to help improve our patient's lives, which is one of the most rewarding aspects of the job. A few of Eric's hobbies include fishing and playing paintball on the weekends.
Allan Coreas, Front Office Staff
Allan graduated from Plano East in 2021 and is currently working on getting his degree in Mechanical Engineering. He works the front office for DFW Orthotics and Prosthetics. He likes to workout and play basketball. He also likes listening to music and hanging out with friends.
